Published in 1893, Chūko Sho Meika Gafu (i.e., Picture Album of Several Old Famous Painters) included woodblock-printed copies of six scroll paintings. Flowers and (or) birds were subject of four paintings by prominent members of the Maruyama-Shijō School and one painting by a Nagasaki/Nanga School artist (i.e., Chinzan Tsubaki). These five paintings are shown in this gallery.
